I truly enjoy the design process and how it consistently transforms a domain into a portfolio of concepts to be developed into future products and services. It is an even greater joy to teach others to design for themselves.

By the end of this workshop, the students were able to identify the most inspiring components of a user’s story and develop a game changing solution to help users and organizations with similar issues. The output of this session was a small portfolio of services that may be developed into more defined concepts and prototypes.

As an educator, this is the moment of truth…

Having the opportunity to provide a willing audience with tools that can change lives, is a great privilege not to be taken lightly— and I don’t. Just to simply witness individuals apply frameworks and express a visceral response to new concepts is a great experience to behold. Imagine preparing a group of individuals to collaborate, connect, and produce a viable solution for a demographic they’ve worked hard to understand through empathy, is truly rewarding. We are towing the road to transcending ambiguity.
